PLEASE NOTE: Due to the fact stone is a natural material variations will occur. Each product can have different natural markings, textures, grain and vein patterns, natural colour variations can occur due to the type and age of the material. This is considered normal and adds to the beauty of the products and not considered a defect.
MARBLE – Quarried from throughout Indonesia. Marble will have variations in colour and vein pattern. Usage: Indoor & Outdoor products.
GRANITE – Quarried from throughout Indonesia. Granite will have variations in colour and vein pattern. Usage: Indoor & Outdoor products.
PETRIFIED WOOD – AKA (Fossil wood). Petrified wood is a fossil found in ancient rainforests. In Indonesia petrified wood mainly comes from the Miocene period. This means that the trees are about 20 million years old. Petrified wood will have variations in colour and vein pattern. Usage: Indoor & Outdoor products.
VOLCANIC ROCK – AKA (Volcanic Stone, Lava Stone). Volcanic rock forms when volcanoes erupt. The lava shoots out of a volcano. Once this incredibly hot liquid cools, it becomes volcanic rock. Volcanic rock will have variations in colour. Usage: Indoor & Outdoor products.
RIVER STONE – River stone is a sedimentary rock found in river beds. Its normally a form of limestone or sandstone. This is due to them both being easily eroded by the moving water and smaller rocks. However, the term river stone is also a used as a generic term for an any mix of rocks found in a river bed. River stone ranges from large boulders to through to pebbles. River Stone will have variations in colour and texture. Usage: Indoor & Outdoor products.
LIMESTONE – Limestone is a sedimentary rock composed principally of calcium carbonate. It is commonly composed of tiny fossils, shell fragments and other fossilized debris. Limestone will have variations in colour and texture. Usage: Indoor & Outdoor products.
SANDSTONE – Sandstone is a clastic sedimentary rock composed mainly of sand-sized silicate grains. Sandstone will have variations in colour and texture. Usage: Indoor & Outdoor products.
TERRAZZO – A composite material of mainly marble chippings, but can be other stone and tile chippings which is mixed into cement. The mixture is poured by hand into a mould to cast the product. Terrazzo will have variations in colour and texture. Polished is a smooth finish and Rough is a textured finish with small holes in the surface similar to concrete. Usage: Indoor & Outdoor products.
