PLEASE NOTE: Due to the fact wood is a natural material variations will occur. Each product can have different natural markings, textures, grain and vein patterns, natural colour variations can occur due to the type and age of the material. This is considered normal and adds to the beauty of the products and not considered a defect.
CLEAR MATT FINISH – An acrylic clear matt protective finish which can be applied over all types of wood. Due to the natural differences, grains, natural colour variations, age etc of wood the final colour will vary slightly. Composition: Acrylic. Usage: Indoor & Outdoor Products
TEAK OIL FINISH – Teak oil can be used on any type of wood and gives a matt finish. Teak oil will produce a slightly darker and richer tone than our Clear Matt Finish. Teak oil products need regular maintenance to keep the same appearance. Composition: Mixture of Linseed oil, Tung oil, mineral oil and solvents. Usage: Indoor & Outdoor Products
RECYCLED FINISH – Can be used on any wood. Paint is applied in layers and melted to create and “aged look” with a blow torch. The finish can be applied all over the product or used to accent parts. This is a random finish and no two items will look exactly the same. An acrylic clear matt protective top finish is applied.
LEAF FINISH – Gilding is mainly used with mahogany as the base wood. The faux leaf comes in thin sheets and is applied by hand. An acrylic clear protective top finish is sprayed to protect the leaf finish.
HONEY, MID BROWN, & DARK BROWN FINISHES – These finishes use translucent wood stains and can be applied to any wood.
Please note: Due to the translucent nature of the stain a light finish cant not be used on a dark base wood. It can only go from light to dark. Not dark to light. An acrylic clear matt protective top finish is applied.
WHITEWASH & BLACKWASH FINISHES – These finishes are paint finishes applied by hand to any wood. No two items will look exactly the same. An acrylic clear matt protective top finish is applied.
WOOD PAINT WHITE & BLACK FINISHES – These finishes are paint finishes sprayed onto the wood as a solid colour, using acrylic wood paints. An acrylic clear matt protective top finish is applied.
